The rural artisans mostly use vegetable tanned leather from fallen animals thus they are free from harmful chemicals and provides excellent thermal insulation. A Long coat like garment, worn by men close to the body, of slight below knee-length, and opening in front with button-fastenings. It is related to the ashcan and especially popular at weddings for the Groom. Adds glamour and style, while still preserving the deep roots of the Indian Tradition. PAKISTANI weddings sherwani

PAKISTANI weddings are truly traditional and depict the cultural ethos of the society. This reflects in the way the weddings are conducted, the various rituals that are performed, and even in the attire of the bride and the groom. The bride usually wears a traditional sari or lehnga. This holds true for the groom as well. Sherwani is thus, one such attire, which is not only traditional but also fashionably stylish. Earlier most men preferred suits for their wedding day, but with the evolution of fashion industry and the mindset of the people, Achkans have emerged out to be the hottest wedding attires for men.

In PAKISTAN, people are becoming extremely fashion conscious and pay special attention to their look and clothes, especially if it is their wedding day. A Sherwani is a close fitting jacket like garment, of knee length or longer, and has an opening in front with button fastenings and a Nehru collar. These are usually teamed with churidars in contrasting colors. Furthermore, they are accessorized with a long shawl or scarf draped over shoulders or simply hung around the neck.

Indian Sherwani

Sherwani is long coat, it has buttons in the front with ban collars. The Sherwani falls well below the knees, and looks elegant especially if the groom is tall. The Sherwanis are available in many colors. Off-white, beige and cream shades are more popular amongst men. To give it a different look, try out black and other darker shades. Sherwani can be of various types, the Peshawri and the Baloochi, and are usually covered with embroidery and zardozi work. Turban is an important part of Indian sherwani, flowing kurtas with churidars and jooties or Indian sandals. The turban are traditional headgear worn by the men of both the sides during wedding.
